JoJo Rabbit producer searching for ‘undiscovered talent’ for new film set in Glasgow

Producers are on the look-out for undiscovered talent for a forthcoming film set in Glasgow.

London-based Des Hamilton Casting are casting for a feature film about an Iranian family living in the city – and you don't need any previous acting experience to audition either.

The movie is to be produced by Chelsea Winstanley, whose work includes Jojo Rabbit, and Beasts of No Nation producer Tommee May.

The casting firm have previously sought out talent for films and shows such as Jojo Rabbit, Netflix's Top Boy, The King and High Life, starring Robert Pattinson.

The open auditions will be held in the Renfield Training and Conference Centre on Bath Street on Saturday February 1 for one of the main roles.

The team are searching for a Scottish Iranian girl aged 15-21, who can speak Farsi.

The role will be "very well paid" too, apparently. Ker-ching.

The auditions take place between noon and 5pm. To find out more, email office@deshamilton.com.
