
The Joint Al-Jazeera Shield Drill 10 concluded on Saturday its training in the Jubail region in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
The exercise is the largest the Gulf area and has been underway for several weeks.
The concluding ceremony for the exercise was attended by Chief of Staff Fayyadh Al Ruwaili, his counterparts from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and several military and security officials.
The exercise aims to preserve regional stability and security and is part of the Defense Ministry’s comprehensive strategy in the Kingdom.
The drill included all Gulf countries and sought to achieve joint cooperation, military coordination and confront dangers and threats against the region.
