Gas and electricity bills are rising by another £693 in April in a tip of the iceberg for households already battling rising food, utility and housing costs.
It means you'll have to be even smarter when it comes to making your money last.
One way to do this is by ensuring you're on the most competitive price plans for your household - and another is by making sure you're getting all the support you need.
For example, those living in areas where it's snowed this year may be eligible for a cold weather payment while people on benefits could get a £144 saving on their broadband bills.
Today is the #NationsBiggestHousewarming awareness day - and it's more important than ever.
It's all about helping charities raise vital funds to support those living in fuel poverty.
With the energy crisis set to plunge another 1.5million households into fuel poverty, it has never been more important.
The aim is to provide life-changing energy advice and ensure everyone's getting the help and support they're entitled to.
To mark it, well be hosting a live Q&A on Thursday, answering all of your questions on energy bills support.
The Mirror's Graham Hiscott will be joined by Matt Copeland from the National Energy Action - the campaigners behind the initiative.
To get involved, join us live on The Mirror's Facebook page at 1pm on Thursday, where we will be tackling all of your questions.

“At this time of year, and with energy bills soaring for so many of us, it’s essential to get any help you’re entitled to," explains Sarah Coles at Hargreaves Lansdown.
“Some of these benefits will come to you automatically if you’re entitled to them, like the Cold Weather Payment and the Winter Fuel Allowance.
“However, if you qualify for the Warm Homes Discount, you’ll need to apply for it. How this works will depend on how you qualify.
“If you get the guarantee element of the pensions credit you’ll get a letter telling you how to apply. If you’re on a low income, you should approach your energy company to find out if you qualify and how to apply.
“Don’t assume you won’t get any help, get in touch and see what help is available.”
Winter fuel payments
Winter Fuel Payments could get you between £100 and £300 to help with gas and electricity over the cold snap.
It's a tax-free payment made by the UK Government to help pensioners pay for their energy.
If you were born on or before 26 September 2995 you may qualify - that’s providing you get the state pension or another benefit (not Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction, Child Benefit or Universal Credit ).
The scheme covers the period between November and December each year.
Cold weather payments
A Cold Weather Payment of £25, which you can receive more than once, is made from the beginning of November and throughout the winter months.
The money goes to people on low incomes who receive a qualifying benefit, such as pension credit or certain employment benefits, when temperatures sink to below 0°C in the area they live in.
Payments are triggered by data collected by the Met Office from 94 weather stations around Britain.
The scheme runs each year from November 1 to March 31 every year.
If you do qualify, you'll get a £25 a week payment for every seven-day spell of cold weather you experience.
Contact the Winter Fuel Payment helpline on 0800 731 0160. Check your postcode for the Cold Weather Payment here.
Warm Home Discount
You could get £140 off your electricity bill for winter 2021 to 2022 under the Warm Home Discount Scheme.
This is not money paid to you - it’s a one-off discount on your electricity bill, between October and March.
The money is paid if you get the Guarantee Credit element of Pension Credit - known as the ‘core group’ or if you’re on a low income and meet your energy supplier’s criteria for the scheme - known as the ‘broader group’.
Your electricity supplier will apply the discount to your bill by 31 March 2022.
