Teams of up to eight people will be able to join an actress playing Lara Croft in the live adventure
(Picture: Little Lion Entertainment )She has been played on the big screen by Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander and now Lara Croft is coming to London as the star of the capital’s next big immersive experience.
A 30,000 square foot site in Camden’s Stables Market will be transformed for Tomb Raider: The Live Experience complete with thick jungle, a treacherous ancient tomb and a sinking ship bringing to life the world of the computer game turned film franchise.
Teams of up to eight people will be able to join the actress playing Croft in the live adventure which is due to open on April 1.
It is the creation of actor Tom Lionetti-Maguire, whose firm Little Lion Entertainment previously set up the live action version of cult TV show the Crystal Maze.
He said the show was “a game changer for live experiences”, adding: “Not only will people be whisked into a fantasy narrative on this journey, but they will find surprises, adventure and wonderment around every trap—laden corner.
“‘Unique’ doesn’t even begin to describe how much this legendary explorer’s experience is going to take people’s breath away. We make our guests the stars of the action, and what a wild time they are in for here.”
The new show is the latest immersive experience set up in the capital with a life-sized Monopoly game open in Tottenham Court Road and the Tower of London having announced plans to open its vaults to host a Gunpowder plot show.
