Johnny Vegas supported as he heads to Crosby beach to 'ease busy head'

Comedian Johnny Vegas was supported by his followers as he headed to a beach in Merseyside to "ease his big, daft, busy head."

Johnny took to Twitter on Sunday to share some snaps from his trip to Crosby Beach. Alongside the pictures he wrote a caption confessing that he "needed" the beach visit.

He said: "Crosby Beach is looking simply breathtaking today. Possibly my favourite autumnal views of this year. This beach and Antony Gormley 's Another Place never fails to ease my big daft busy head. Needed this today."

Johnny's followers were quick to offer their support to the Benidorm star and express their love for the iconic beach.

Sarah Pickford said: "Keep going Johnny...You've got this."

Lyndsey said: "Absolutely love Crosby beach & the Antony Gormley sculptures. Something very calming about it all."

Debbie King said: "I grew up there, used to often come home from work, make my tea then take it down the beach to eat and think. Never knew you loved it there too."

John Mc said: "With time and tide it looks different every visit. Favourite place for a walk - problems never seem so bad afterwards."

Jay Hayes said: "I remember seeing these for the first time, and feeling strangely sad that the figures were so far apart they wouldn't be able to talk to each other. I was worried they would each be lonely."
