Pep Guardiola’s side has an array of star-studded talent, but away from the pitch Man City boast some of the world’s most famous musicians as fans.
Noel and Liam Gallagher, from Oasis, have made their affection for City no secret over the years and neither has Johnny Marr, previously of The Smiths.
The Blues are currently chasing their fourth Premier League title in the modern era and have one of the most enviable squads in football.
They also have world class infrastructure, including a multi-million pound training complex, which ensures sustainable future success.
City are almost unrecognisable to what they were a few decades ago, with the club briefly flirting with England’s fourth division on a few occasions while also calling Maine Road their home.
Born and bred Mancunian, Marr, who is responsible for some of Britain’s most iconic music, has been a lifelong City fan and has witnessed the highs and lows.

And the 55-year-old, taking to BBC Sport, has now recalled how he fell in love with City, saying: "I first went to watch them in 1972.
"It was City versus Wolves, I went with a mate. I was about nine at the time and like a lot of football fans I have that great memory of my first time going up the steps and into the ground and seeing the pitch, that massive expanse of green, married to the sound and all the excitement and energy of the place. It never really leaves you, that memory.
"Back then, City had their great famous team of the 1970s of Mike Summerbee, Colin Bell and Franny Lee.
"Luckily for me, my first game was a 5-2 win with Lee scoring a hat-trick, and I just fell in love with the whole thing. I fell in love with the kit, and the atmosphere of the game and it has been an interesting journey since then."
City’s ‘interesting journey’ is bound to continue, and the club are still in contention for an unprecedented quadruple this campaign.
City’s Mike Summerbee, Colin Bell and Franny Lee are legends of old and there is no doubt some of Guardiola’s men could be held in the same breath if they deliver even more silverware.
