Johnny Marr and Jungle added to Nile Rodgers' Meltdown line-up: How to get festival tickets

Johnny Marr and Jungle are among the acts to have joined Nile Rodgers’ Meltdown.

The festival, which will run from August 3-11 at the Southbank Centre, has already locked in performances from Thundercat, KOKOROKO, Songhoy Blues, SOPHIE and others.

A string of new acts have now been added to the bill, which has been curated by the disco icon Rodgers.

Former Smiths guitarist Marr will play at the Royal Festival Hall on August 8, while west London dance act Jungle will appear at the same venue on August 5.

Among the other newly announced acts are Kero Kero Bonito, Nakhane, Nicky Saino, Onyx Collective and more.

Rodgers said: “In curating Meltdown I’m effectively creating my own live concert playlist of my favourite artists, new and old.

“I’m delighted to announce the addition of Jungle and my great friend Johnny Marr to the lineup as well as new artists like Kero Kero Bonito, Anaïs and Nakhane.”
