Jared Goff got a hefty payday on Tuesday night, agreeing to terms on a new contract with the Los Angeles Rams. He’s now signed through 2024, locking him in through the next six seasons.
It came as a surprise after the Rams said they wouldn’t extend Goff until after the 2019 season, but the timing is good for everyone involved.
That even includes Johnny Hekker.
He had a great response to Goff’s extension, sharing his excitement on Twitter.
Goff and Todd Gurley treated their offensive linemen to Christmas gifts last season, so it seems Hekker is expecting a present from Goff under the tree this year.
To be fair, Goff did receive the most guaranteed money in NFL history, so it’s not as if he can’t afford it.
