Johnny Depp's fans have launched a Twitter war on Amber Heard after he lost his libel battle last week.
Amber, 34, has been the target of online abuse since Depp, 57, lost his libel case against The Sun over an article calling him a "wife beater".
The abuse has "taken its toll" on Amber, the Mail on Sunday reports.
One tweeted: "Now that the election is over, can we talk about how Amber Heard is evil and Johnny Depp was the real victim of cancel culture."
"I hope Amber Heard gets f***ing hit by a bus and dies because what the F***," another troll posted.
Referring to Amber's late mother Paige Parsons, who died earlier this year, another said: "If your mother could see what you do she'd be glad to die."
It's claimed Amber has struggled to deal with all the abuse since the case came to an end.
A source said: "It is just so gross and it has taken its toll in a way you wouldn't believe."
Mirror Online has contacted reps for Amber Heard and Johnny Depp for comment.
On November 2 Depp lost his libel case against The Sun, which had published an article alleging he had abused Amber during their marriage.
Depp strenuously denies being abusive and accused Amber of being violent during their relationship, which she denies.
In his ruling, the judge, Mr Justice Nicol, said: "The claimant [Depp] has not succeeded in his action for libel...
"The defendants [The Sun and News Group Newspapers] have shown that what they published in the meaning which I have held the words to bear was substantially true.
"I have reached these conclusions having examined in detail the 14 incidents on which the defendants rely as well as the overarching considerations which the claimant submitted I should take into account. In those circumstances, parliament has said that a defendant has a complete defence."
In a statement, Amber Heard's US lawyer Elaine Charlson Bredehoft said: "For those of us present for the London High Court trial, this decision and judgment are not a surprise."
Depp's lawyers vowed to appeal in a statement: "This decision is as perverse as it is bewildering.
"Most troubling is the judge's reliance on the testimony of Amber Heard, and corresponding disregard of the mountain of counter-evidence from police officers, medical practitioners, her own former assistant, other unchallenged witnesses and an array of documentary evidence which completely undermined the allegations, point by point.
"All of this was overlooked. The judgment is so flawed that it would be ridiculous for Mr Depp not to appeal this decision."
