Mason Mount's meteoric rise has reached new levels after the 22-year-old produced yet another world class performance against Spanish giants Real Madrid to book Chelsea's place in this season's Champions League final.
Chelsea's 2020/21 campaign has been mixed, with club legend Frank Lampard sacked from his role as manager in January, but Mount has been a shining light throughout both Lampard and Tuchel's tenure.
So much so, that former Blues captain John Terry uploaded a touching tribute to Mount on Instagram to congratulate the Chelsea men's and women's teams for both reaching the final of European club football's most elite competition.
Underneath a picture of Mount as a young boy playing for Chelsea, Terry said: "Congratulations @chelseafc & @chelseafcw. One more game to go..."
The post highlighted just how long Mount has been with the side, with the England international first joining the club at just six years of age.
Working tirelessly to progress through the ranks and even going to the Netherlands during a loan spell with Eredivisie outfit Vitesse Arnhem, Mount has more than earned his status as Chelsea's main man.
Thomas Tuchel's side dominated proceedings from the off, with Real Madrid struggling to deal with the threat posed by the likes of Mount, Havertz and co.

A rare Timo Werner goal handed Chelsea the ideal start, reaching the interval 1-0 up on the night, 2-1 up on aggregate after the sides drew 1-1 in Madrid
Many were expecting some form of attacking onslaught from Zidane's side, who needed to score to take the tie to extra time, but Los Blancos barely laid a glove on the Blues, with Chelsea looking the more likely to score after the break.
Eventually, Tuchel's men made the pressure count - with Mount delivering the knockout blow.
Assisted by the hero of the first-leg in Christian Pulisic, Mount reacted faster than Eder Militao to fire the ball into the roof of Courtois' net, sparking wild celebrations from the home side.
