John Terry responds to Jose Mourinho's Chelsea message after Tottenham decision

Jose Mourinho has posted numerous photos on Instagram over the last few days following his sacking from Tottenham.

The former Chelsea boss is keen to remind everyone of the success he has enjoyed during his managerial career.

Just a day after he was relieved of his duties at Spurs, Mourinho posted an image of him being held up by his Real Madrid players following their Copa del Rey success back in 2011.

More recently, the Portuguese coach shared a picture of him holding the ball away from former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard after Chelsea's infamous 2-0 win at Anfield in 2014.

Most recently, Mourinho has posted another photo of him during his Chelsea days - but this time, from his first reign in charge of the Blues.

It was a picture of Mourinho sipping a bottle of champagne alongside Damien Duff, Arjen Robben and John Terry after the Blues secured their second Premier League title in 2006.

The caption read: “Stamford Bridge. April 29th 2006. Hanging out with some friends on a special day.”

Terry, who was Chelsea's captain that day, responded to his former boss' post, with a comment that included a blue heart and a trophy emoji.

The former Blues skipper has made no secret of his love and admiration for Mourinho in the past.

Terry, speaking on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football back in 2017, opened up on what the manager was like to work under.

"He was the best manager, and the best coach as well. He did everything," Terry explained.

"He was the first one to come and revolutionise it at Chelsea. He would be the first in, 8am, he'd be the one setting the cones out, and you'd come in as players and he'd be out there, if it was pouring with rain, getting his session organised."
