John Terry has delivered six-word verdict on Man City ahead of Champions League final vs Chelsea

John Terry has already given his verdict on Manchester City ahead of Chelsea's Champions League final clash against Pep Guardiola's men later this month.

City coasted through on Tuesday night after beating Mauricio Pochettino’s Paris Saint-Germain 4-1 on aggregate. Positive reaction to that performance was certainly expected – just not from Chelsea’s greatest ever defender.

On the stroke of half-time, Terry took to Instagram to share his thoughts, stating: “Man City are simply too good.”

The now Aston Villa coach was evidently impressed by the display but will be hoping that his beloved Chelsea can pull off a huge victory – as they did against Real Madrid last night - on the May 29.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have looked rejuvenated since the German took over from Terry’s ex-teammate Frank Lampard four months ago, and the Blues will be confident that they can get a result over a side who are seemingly 'too good'.

Before then, however, the two face off in the Premier League as the West London outfit travel to the Etihad on Saturday. Guardiola’s team can secure the title with a victory, but Chelsea need the points to ensure they stay ahead in the race for top four.
