Comedian John Sessions has died at age 67.
He was best known for his work on TV shows Spitting Image, Have I Got News For You and Whose Line Is It Anyway?
He died at home after suffering a heart attack on Monday, his agent has said.
John began his incredible broadcasting career way back in the 1970s, after studying alongside Kenneth Branagh at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA).
He went on to voice some of the puppets on satirical series Spitting Image and conceived cult comedy Stella Street.
More recently, the actor appeared in TV drama Skins and sitcom Outnumbered.
During his career, he played three Prime Ministers.
He portrayed Harold Wilson in Made In Dagenham and Edward Heath in the Margaret Thatcher bipoc The Iron Lady.
He then went on to star as John Russell in ITV period drama Victoria.
John had a long and busy movie career, with credits beginning with 1982's The Sender and running all the way through to 2017's Loving Vincent.
Among them were a number of Shakespeare adaptations, including Henry V and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
People may also recognise him from Mr Holmes, Pudsey: The Movie, and Gangs of New York.
And in the land of TV, he'll also be fondly remembered as a panelist on QI.
His most recent TV acting credits also include ITV drama series The Loch in 2017.
John, who had a twin sister named Maggie and an older brother, was born John Gibb Marshall in Scotland in 1953.
He moved to Bedford in England with his family when he was three years old.
He found a love for comedy while studying for his English literature degree at the University College of North Wales in Bangor, and began appearing in comedy shows.
It was a passion that would take him onto a long and successful career.
