John Ross’ football camp, celebrity basketball tournament was a success

Cincinanti Bengals wide receiver John Ross had an eventful summer before training camp gets underway in July.

As per the usual, Ross held a celebrity basketball tournament recently, with proceeds going to his John Ross III Foundation.

He also held a free camp for kids, stressing the importance of details — both on the field and away from it. Technique on the field and grades away from it were the big takeaways.

“I’m from Long Beach. It’s something I wish I could have done as a kid. To see their faces light up – to see how much it means to them means the world to me,” Ross said, according to Timothy Parker of Spectrum News 1.

At the celebrity basketball game, Ross got guys like Terrell Owens, Keenan Allen and others to help out.

Here’s a fun video from the camp, and kudos to Ross for giving back to his hometown.
