John Rolfe: Edinburgh police appeal as missing man could be in the capital

Police in Edinburgh have re-issued an appeal for a missing man who they believe could be in the capital.

Concerns have grown for John Rolfe, 45, after he was last seen days ago at his home in Dundee, but has not been heard from since.

According to local authorities in Dundee, John was last seen at around 8.40am on Thursday (October 28), with theories circulating that he may have travelled to Edinburgh.

On Sunday (October 31), officers in Edinburgh appealed to the local public, asking anyone in the Edinburgh area who may have seen John to contact them as soon as possible.

A police appeal issued this week continued: "John is 5ft 7, med build, short brown hair, and was wearing grey tracksuit and green jacket.

"“He is a well-known face in and around Dundee City Centre, and is known to sometimes travel outwith the Dundee area, particularly to Edinburgh.

“If you have any information that could help us find him, please call 101 or speak to any police officer.

"Anyone with information should call 101 with ref incident 2345 of 29th October."
