John McGinn swept the board at Aston Villa's end-of-season awards – then vowed to attempt to lead the Midlands giants back to the Premier League.
The Scotland midfielder, who joined the Villa Park club from Hibs last summer in a £2.75m transfer, scooped two gongs.
He has been named the players’ and supporters’ Player Of The Season.
McGinn, who has played a key role in Villa's late season surge that has seen them book a place in the playoffs, is desperate to drag the club back to the top flight.
He said: “With so much stature and with the size of this club, it is a Premier League club.
“We're in the play-offs now and it is up to us to try to make that happen for real.
“Everyone is just enjoying playing here. Everyone is enjoying watching us and that only bodes well for the future.
“I think the style of play the manager (Dean Smith) has suits the players and it suits the supporters watching it as well so long may that continue.
“You can see every time we are coming into the ground that there is an eagerness about the group.

“Everyone is anticipating the games and it has been a long time since we felt that.
“It's a really nice place to be in but we know how quickly football can turn so it's important not to get too high when things are good but also not get too low when things go against us.”
