John Terry believes John McGinn is living proof that top talent does still exist in Scottish football.
The ex-Hibs midfielder enjoyed a sensational first season after moving to Aston Villa for £2.75million last August and hos now been linked with £50m transfer to Manchester Utd.
That could spell a financial windfall for the Hibees , who were today taken over by American businessman .
And Terry, McGinn’s assistant manager at Villa Park, has tipped “Meatbaw” to be a star in England’s top flight.
“Down south people watch Scottish football,” he said. “John McGinn is a prime example that there is talent up there and there is probably more to come out of it as well.
"What a player he is. He is a great lad. He gets that backside into people and rolls people!
“He is an absolute pleasure to work with. To work with him on a daily basis is great.
“He is an absolute gentleman, a real talent and I think he is going to take the Premier League by storm this year because people aren’t going to know what to expect.
“He is a real top talent, a great lad who is keen to get better and improve himself.”
