Summer recruit John Lundstram admits it hasn't been easy to find his feet Rangers following his arrival from Sheffield United.
The midfielder has endured a mixed start to life at the club but showed some of his best qualities in the battling win over Dundee.
The 27-year-old arrived from the English Premier League with expectations high for an instant impact with the champions.
Lundstram told Rangers TV he is still adjusting to life in the Scottish Premiership and his Ibrox teammates, but feels he is showing signs of improvement.
He said: "It was an enjoyable one. I loved the battle, loved the mentality of the lads.
"We are a scalp and we always have been a scalp. People give that little bit more against Rangers and it was a tough place to visit but I enjoyed it.
"Everybody said thank you to him (Jon McLaughlin) at the end because he got us out of it (trouble).
"We could have had a couple more, at the other end, with a little bit more quality and a little bit more fine tuning.
"I'm loving my time here and I'm settling in well now. I'm finding my place in the team more, finding my feet but it's not easy to come to away places like this.
"You need to take the sting out the game sometimes when it's 100 miles per hour. You need to make a few passes and take the sting out the opposition."
