Paddy Power's latest odds for this year's John Lewis Christmas advert indicate Lewis Capaldi is the clear favourite at 2/5.
The retailer's festive advert is always one of the most anticipated with last year's starring Elton John and his hit song Your Song.
It followed the story of Elton John growing up and being gifted with his first piano.
The narrative for this year is being kept under wraps, however speculation is high surrounding who will provide the soundtrack.
While Lewis Capaldi is the current clear favourite, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding and George Ezra complete the top five.
Adele is the sixth favourite with odds at 16/1.
Back in August, fans had already started speculating on Twitter that Lewis Capaldi would be this year's big name.

It's safe to say this year has been huge for the Scottish singer with a sold-out Croxteth Park show among his highlights, so it seems fitting that he would end the year in this way.

When will this year's John Lewis advert be released?
While John Lewis always remains tight-lipped about when its advert will be screened on television, last year it was released on Thursday, November 15.
It was shared on the brand's social media channels first in an unusual move compared to previous years.
In 2017 its Moz the Monster advert was released on Friday, November 10 and in 2016 its Buster the Boxer advert was released on Thursday, November 10.
So are guess is Thursday, November 14 will be when fans can expect to see 2019's advert.
