John Lewis and Partners has announced that it will be part of the Black Friday sales in 2021.
Black Friday, which this year takes place on November 26, originated as an American shopping holiday for the day after the Thanksgiving holiday, but it has grown in popularity here in the UK, with many retailers making the most of it.
It is also followed by Cyber Monday the following week, which this year falls on November 29.
John Lewis are yet to reveal their full deals, but have provided hopeful shoppers with some Black Friday tips to help them get the best deals in the sales.
Create a wish list
Through a website wish list page, customers can add products they are interested in, share it with family and friends and use it to start Christmas shopping early.
Research your purchases
The John Lewis website also contains a number of buying guides to help customers find what they are looking for, covering everything from fashion to technology.
There are also product reviews and guarantees from manufacturers.

The John Lewis and Partners app, available for iPhone and iPad from Apple’s App Store or for Phone and Tablet from GooglePlay, gives customers the chance to get the latest information on which products are in stock and where users can find the best deals.
Earn as you spend
John Lewis has a partnership card for users to earn points, where purchases can earn gift vouchers, redeemable at both John Lewis and Waitrose.
There are also a range of delivery or click and collect options for customers.
There is free click and collect for orders over £30, available also from Co-Op and Boots stores.
There is also free UK mainland delivery for orders over £50, with next and named day delivery options starting from £6.95.
Products can be delivered to 38 countries overseas from the mainland UK, starting from £7.50.
