John Lewis has succeeded in tugging on the nation's heartstrings yet again with the release of their Christmas advert, starring Sir Elton John.
The advert, called the Boy and the Piano, tells the story of the rocket man's impressive career, to highlight why some gifts are more than just a gift.
The ad opens with John playing the first bars of his hit 1970 single, Your Song, on the piano.
As the song plays on, we're taken on a journey of John's life, from being gifted his first piano by his Grandma on Christmas Day to playing sold-out stadium tours.
John plays himself along with five other actors who document his incredible life story.
Who are the actors playing Elton?
Young Elton
Four-year-old Freddie Henderson steals the spotlight as a young Elton John opening his first piano.
Despite his tender age, Freddie said he was unfazed by the role:
He said: "I was, just you know, running down the stair, into the lounge, standing there until they said - cut!"
Recital Boy Elton
Leading Sir Elton Jon's first piano recital is 10-year-old Hudson Trindall.
He said: "I play a very famous musician who is eleven at the time of what I am filming.
"The hardest thing was just getting everything right."
Teenage Elton
Sending pub-goers into a frenzy with his talented piano skills is Brandon Stein, who plays a teenage Elton.
70s Elton
Oliver Marshall plays the superstar in his late 30s.
He said of his role: "I'm playing Elton John in his mid to late thirties. Big life construct, lots of bright lights, giant baby grand white piano, silver glasses.
"Just everything you would love about Elton John in terms of excess in the music.
"The prosthetics are incredible, the prosthetics have pretty much just made it and [you] actually just inhabit the entire role."

Rocking the stage like the amazing performer Sir John came to be is Simon Burbage.

Elton's Mum
Playing Elton John's Mum is writer, actress and teacher Katie Bonna.
She shared her delight at bagging the role on Twitter.
"I'm very proud of this one," she wrote, "what an incredible team of literal legends I got to work with. Merry Christmas."
Elton's Nan
Elton's Gran, who gives him a grand piano for Christmas, is played by Deborah Baxter.
Ms Baxter has also appeared in the films A High Wind in Jamaica and The Wind and the Lion.
