John Lewis 2023 Christmas advert: when is the advert out? Festive moment appears on the horizon

The John Lewis Christmas commercial is one of the most eagerly awaited festive TV commercials of the year and never fails to make viewers cry.

Last year's advertisement followed a dejected father who was learning to skateboard titled The Beginner.

In order to form a bond with a girl in the foster system who was spending Christmas with him and his wife, he was attempting to learn, as the advertisement's conclusion disclosed.

When can fans expect to see it and what may the theme of this year's advertisement be?

When is the advert out?

The John Lewis advertisement was last released at 8pm on November 10, 2022. Since it is usually released on a Thursday, November 9 might be the possible date for the advertisement.

The 2023 Christmas commercial's theme has not yet been revealed, but judging from the past ones, viewers are bound to get emotional.

Who else has released their Christmas ads?

With British merchants rushing to produce their Christmas ads, people are slowly starting to get into the festive spirit .

Very, TK Maxx, Lidl, and Asda all shared their holiday productions; Baileys, Waitrose, Asda, Argos, and Sports Direct did the same.

Lidl aims to remind people of the importance of simple acts of kindness and to tug at people's heartstrings.

Very's commercial Let's Make It Sparkle features the remastered version of the Girls Aloud song Merry Christmas, Everybody along with the introduction of colourful flamingo characters Cherry, Kerry, and Terry.

In this year's festive advertisement, Dawn French, the M&S Food fairy, makes a comeback alongside Hollywood celebrities and co-chairmen of the Wrexham football club, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.

The Morrisons Christmas advertisement strives to avoid "glamorising" Christmas and modestly honour their labour of love instead.

Graham Norton, host of Eurovision, makes a cameo appearance in Waitrose's advertisement, which is set during a lively celebration without children.
