John Legend celebrates daughter Luna's seventh birthday with sweet photos

John Legend has been celebrating his daughter Luna's seventh birthday while posting sweet photos.

The 44-year-old shared some cute snaps of Luna Simone as she celebrated with her family on Friday.

One pic showed the little girl posing with her hair wrapped up in a towel as well as another of her playing and taking selfies while on a family holiday.

Dad John shared a sweet message for his daughter, he wrote: "Happy 7th birthday to our kind, smart, creative, beautiful little girl Luna Simone. She brings us so much light and love every single day and I feel so lucky to be her dad."

John and wife Chrissy Teigen recently welcomed their youngest child Esti.

However, the singer-songwriter explained that his other children were jealous when Chrissy was pregnant with Esti.

He said they were "kind of jealous", but he explained that things are different now.

The All Of Me singer and Chrissy, who have been married since 2013 had their youngest child in January 2023.

They were already parents to eldest daughter Luna, seven and her younger sibling Miles, four.

John appeared on the Jonathan Ross Show where he talked about his latest arrival.

John teased to host Jonathan that his eldest kids Luna and Miles had seemed "jealous" during the pregnancy .

He sais: "They seemed kind of jealous while mummy was pregnant … but since she's come out, they've been so good, competing to see who will be the best older sibling."

The Grammy Award winner also talked about celebrating his 10th wedding anniversary to wife Chrissy, with the occasion having coincided with the release of his song All of Me.

He says: "We're going to go back to where it all started, Lake Como, we're going to go back there. [It's] the 10th anniversary of All Of Me, too. The first time I sang it live was at our wedding."

His appearance on the show came after John released Legend (Solo Piano Version), which is a stripped down version of his eighth album from last year.

He said that the new project was inspired by him playing live.
