John Krasinski will get to host Saturday Night Live, almost a year after the coronavirus pandemic forced him to cancel his debut gig on the show.

SNL announced on Friday that Krasinski will emcee on 30 January.

The following week, on 6 February, Schitt’s Creek star Dan Levy will make his own hosting debut.

Oscar winner Regina King will do the same one week after that, on 13 Febuary.

Musical guests have been announced for all three episodes too. Machine Gun Kelly will be featured on 30 January. Phoebe Bridgers will be the musical guest for the following week, and Nathaniel Rateliff is scheduled for the week after that.

The Twitter account for SNL made the announcement in a Twitter post on Friday, using the traditional format of a series of sticky notes revealing the names of the hosts and musical guests for each date.

Krasinski expressed his gratitude at his renewed chance to host the sketch show in a tweet that read: “Aaaaaand cue the pinching myself.”

Levy manifested a similar sentiment, writing: “OMFG.”

SNL is currently on a mid-season break and airing reruns. The most recent original episode, hosted by Kristen Wiig and featuring Dua Lipa, aired on 19 December.

Hosts and guests will be announced at a later date for 20 and 27 February.

Krasinski was supposed to unveil A Quiet Place Part II, the sequel to the 2018 A Quiet Place, in March 2020. The film’s release has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic and is now scheduled for April 2021.
