John Kavanagh calls for Amir Khan to fight Artem Lobov at Brave CF event

SBG Ireland head coach John Kavanagh has called for boxing legend Amir Khan to fight Artem Lobov at a Brave CF MMA event later this year.

Ex-UFC star Lobov is 2-0 in Bareknuckle boxing, most recently defeating former world champion boxer Paulie Malignaggi at BKFC 5 by a controversial decision.

And now he has set his sights on another former champ in 34-5 Amir Khan, with Coach Kavanagh even suggesting that the fight could take place later this year.

In a tweet to Khan, Kavanagh said the pair could face off in a 'boxing fight' in the main event of Brave's massive Asian show in November.

And he could start negotiations within the next ten days, as both men will be in attendance at the Bahranian promotion's invite-only fight night Brave 24.

Khan will be one of many celebrity guests at the fight night, while Kavanagh will be in the corner of Cian Cowley for his fight with Maciek Gierszewski in the co-main event.

Lobov has previously told Khan over Twitter that he is 'ready when you are'.

Amir Khan recently cruised to victory over Billy Dib to earn his 34th career victory.
