Not even shoulder surgery can take the comedian out of John Johnson III. The third-year Rams safety underwent a procedure to repair his injured shoulder on Tuesday and after going under the knife, he shared a hilarious update.
He let everyone know the surgery was a success … that that he’s “still sexy.”
Johnson is one of the most important players on the Rams defense, but he’s also a leader in the locker room. Los Angeles sorely misses him after he was placed on injured reserve a few weeks ago.
Marqui Christian and Taylor Rapp have done well in his place, but there’s no replacing a player like Johnson. The Rams haven’t commented on whether Johnson will be able to return from IR later this season, but Sean McVay said on Tuesday that the team will “get those updates” on his status.
