Ross County boss John Hughes has laughed off the suggestion he was taking half-time advice from John Collins - quipping he had ear muffs on.
Hughes helped the Staggies reach safety thanks to a second half fight-back against Motherwell with goals from Iain Vigurs and Michael Gardyne ensuring their top flight status.
It's been a remarkable turnaround for the strugglers since Hughes came in with the club rock bottom of the Premiership.
However, at the break it seemed as if Kilmarnock would be the team to avoid the play-off spot as they led in Hamilton and County trailed the Steelmen.
Hughes was seen having a long chat at half-time with former Celtic star Collins, but he wouldn't let the pundit take any credit.
When asked if he had taken any advice from Collins at half-time after a chat at the break, Hughes told BBC Scotland: "Did you not see me with the earmuffs on?
"Everything he tells me to do, you know what the trick is, do the opposite, and it works."
Delighted Hughes paid tribute to the Ross County players, staff and fans after their survival bid success

He added: "We found a shape that suits us, and all credit goes to the players. The response has been there.
"I have to say the substitutes have been very good. Usually the toys get thrown out the pram, but they have been a real driving force, they have been great teammates.
"I'm really pleased for them, the chairman and most importantly the supporters."
