John Henry arrives at Anfield as Liverpool make one change to team for Bournemouth

Jurgen Klopp made just one change to his Liverpool side from Monday night’s defeat to Manchester United as Fabinho returned in midfield for Saturday’s clash with Bournemouth.

The Brazilian had been utilised as a substitute at Old Trafford but was restored to the Reds’ starting XI in place of vice-captain James Milner, with Jordan Henderson pushed forward into a more advanced role.

Harvey Elliott completes Liverpool’s midfield, with Roberto Firmino retaining his position in attack. As a result, Fabio Carvalho again had to make do with a place on the bench despite impressing when coming on against the Red Devils earlier in the week.

The Reds’ back five is unchanged while Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz both start in attack on either flank. Meanwhile, with Klopp not yet able to welcome back any of his walked wounded following injury, youngsters Harvey Davies, Bobby Clark, Stefan Bajcetic and Sepp van den Berg were again named in reserve.

Nat Phillips was also named on the bench against his former loan side, with Adrian, Milner, Kostas Tsimikas and Carvalho, making up the nine-man quota, while former Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke was named on the bench for Bournemouth.
