John Fury vows to put Eddie Hearn out of business with Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua wager

John Fury is so confident his son Tyson would beat Anthony Joshua that he is willing to "bet Eddie Hearn everything" and put the promoter out of business.

Hearn represents WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Joshua, who is tipped to face Fury in a unification super-fight later this year or early in 2021.

After the Gypsy King stunned Deontay Wilder to win the WBC championship in February, the two Brits now hold all four major heavyweight belts between them.

But John Fury can only see one winner in the much-anticipated bout to determine the undisputed champion.

In fact, the man who trained Tyson since he was a child is so confident his son would emerge victorious that he is willing to make a lucrative wager with Hearn.

Speaking during next week's episode of BT Sport's What Went Down , John Fury said: “Let’s get the Joshua on and I’ll tell you what I’ll do.

"I will bet Eddie Hearn everything and I’ll put him and his dad [legendary Matchroom promoter Barry Hearn] in the dole queue. I’ll put ‘em in the dole queue!

“All them fighters know they can’t beat Tyson!”

Fury's promoter Bob Arum is exploring the idea of taking the Fury vs Joshua fight to Macau or Australia, where it could even occur on Christmas Day on American time.

However, Arum admits a 2021 date is more likely due to Joshua needing to face mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev - but he is confident the fight with Fury will happen.

He told Sky Sports : "If Joshua beats Pulev, which I don't want because Pulev is my fighter, but if that happens then obviously we would go ahead and do a Fury vs Joshua fight sometime next year.

"I don't think the negotiations would be fraught with difficulty. I think we could negotiate a deal if we met in person within the course of one day. We could work it out.

"We are not known for playing games at Top Rank. We understand how to handle Eddie (Hearn). I worked for many years with his father Barry, who I consider a good friend."
