John Eustace discusses Jordan Cousins' injury and what it could mean for his QPR future

Jordan Cousins may have played his last game for Queens Park Rangers after suffering a nasty knee injury.

The midfielder was stretchered off during the second half of the 2-1 defeat to Blackburn Rovers on Good Friday.

While the extent of the injury is yet to be determined, John Eustace admitted after the game that it looked like a bad one with knee injuries often taking months rather than weeks to recover from.

Every word John Eustace said about Blackburn defeat, Jordan Cousins' injury and his own future

That means that it's plausible that the former Charlton man may have played his last game for the club with his contract set to expire in the summer.

Asked if he had any news on Cousins' injury, Eustace said: "No news on that but it certainly looks a bad one so we’ll have to wait and see. It was in his knee."

The injury will be a real blow to the 25-year-old who who enjoyed much more in terms of first team opportunities this season.
