Denver Broncos general manager John Elway is arguably one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
Yet the GM seems to be having a hard time finding a reliable replacement for Peyton Manning. After swinging and missing bad on Paxton Lynch and saying goodbye to 2018 starter Case Keenum, Elway is hoping his acquistion of former Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco will prove that third time’s a charm.
But even though Flacco has won a Super Bowl, he’s been a mediocre quarterback over his career.
That doesn’t seem to be a concern to Elway, though, who had this to say about his new quarterback.
And, as one would expect, fans had a different point of view than the two-time Super Bowl champion.
