John Cena has lifted the lid on his rivalry with The Rock during their respective wrestling careers.
The WWE legends have both enjoyed forays into the world of acting after making their names in the ring.
Cena, 42, was defeated by The Rock in the main event at WrestleMania 28 back in 2012 - which was the highest-grossing PPV in wrestling history.
They would face off again a year later with Cena this time emerging victorious after months of jibes between the pair.
Speaking on the spat, Cena told The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon: "The Rock and I are most known for our tremendous WWE feud that broke WWE pay-per-view records.
"And we kind of talked a lot of trash about each other. Now, we also had a follow-up match a year later.
"So, we spent a year making fun of each other, and then, one night beating each other up. And then we were liked, ‘did we just become best friends?’ ‘Yep.’
"So, basically, we were able to set aside our differences on that night.”
Cena, who is part of the upcoming Playing With Fire, has starred in films such as Ferdinand, Bumblebee and Trainwreck.
And he has revealed he sought advice from now Hollywood legend The Rock, also known as Dwayne Johnson, before auditioning for the latter.
He told Cena: "Just be yourself, man. That’s why they asked you there in the first place.”
Away from wrestling, Johnson hit the big screen with blockbusters The Mummy Returns, Fast & Furious and Jumanji.
