John Calipari’s living room setup for his live ESPN interview was pretty ridiculous

John Calipari has always done things his own way and he’s never been on to do those things in a subtle way.

It’s who he is and he’s had a ton of success doing things that way, so we’re not here to knock him for that, but rather applaud him for it. We need people like him in sports to make it interesting.

Which brings us to his latest, next-level move. He had his yearly live interview with ESPN after the NCAA tournament brackets were announced on Sunday which is always enjoyable because he’s usually upset about how Kentucky got seeded and just goes off on rants.

But we don’t care about that stuff right now. We care about how he had his living room set up for Sunday’s chat. Check out these jerseys of some of his former star players lined up behind him:

Always. Be. Recruiting.

There’s no way those things are like that any day but today, when he’s on TV talking about his Wildcats. Heck, they didn’t even have the plastic wrapt taken off them! It’s all just too good.

I would have loved to have been in the room when he was like “Ok, going on ESPN soon. Let’s get these jerseys out and make sure they’re lined up so they can all get in the shot. Look at this! We’ve got DeMarcus Cousins! We got John Wall! We got Anthony Davis! We got Derrick Rose! Get these up and quick!”

People on Twitter enjoyed it, too:
