John Barrowman makes Holby City debut tonight as evil Cameron sets his sights on new victim

John Barrowman will be making his much-anticipated Holby City debut tonight - and it couldn't have come at a better time as evil Dr Cameron Dunn is back to his nasty ways.

The Doctor Who and Torchwood star, 53, will be playing slick surgeon Drew Nicholson-Heath and will certainly be ruffling some feathers with his appearance at Holby.

Cameron knows that Drew has a habit of finding the best surgical talent and taking them for positions overseas and does his best to impress.

He realises that his time to shine is by identifying a rare diagnosis.

However, his desperation to stand out soon becomes his undoing when Nicky McKendrick believes that he may have misdiagnosed.

Cameron is determined to prove that he right, but Drew seems to be drawn to Nicky - irritating him immensely.

This prompts Cameron to resort to some dirty tactics after Nicky is chosen to help with a tricky surgical procedure.

Cameron ends up sabotaging Nicky's stitches after surgery before later 'spotting' her mistake and supposedly fixing the problem.

Nicky is convinced by Cameron that she made the error and is desperately upset by her error.

But it seems as though not everyone is convinced by Cameron... will he finally be exposed?

*Holby City airs tonight at 8.30pm on BBC One
