John Barrowman 'absent from trailer' for All Star Musicals at Christmas

Former Dancing On Ice judge John Barrowman was not present in the trailer for All Star Musicals at Christmas despite being the show's host.

According to The Sun, the 54-year-old was missing from the promotional video.

The trailer includes Catherine Tyldesley, Fern Britton, Ben Miller, Anita Rani and Ben Miller for the show that will be airing today.

The publication claims Barrowman's absence comes amid rumours that ITV production bosses plan to 'drop him altogether once the final of two shows' has aired in the New Year.

The Mirror have contacted Barrowman's reps for comment.

All Star Musicals at Christmas will see the celebrities train with West End stars in preparation for a huge theatre performance.

The panel is made up of Elaine Paige, Samantha Barks and Trevor Dion Nicholas.

Dancing On Ice also replaced Barrowman with Strictly star Oti Mabuse.

He left the series under a cloud of shame earlier this year amid allegations he exposed himself to cast and crew on productions he has worked on.

At the end of November, the star opened up about the allegations and claimed it was 'exaggerated'.

He was accused of 'inappropriate behaviour' on set during his time on Doctor Who.

Earlier this year, he also apologised for "high-spirited behaviour and tomfoolery" after accusations he had exposed himself on the set of the BBC show where he played the role of Captain Jack Harkness.

Appearing on ITV talk show Lorraine, John told Lorraine Kelly that he felt 'extremely nervous' while speaking about the situation.

At the beginning of the interview, host Lorraine Kelly asked him: "Do you think on reflection that you may have crossed a line?"

John replied: "I think if it was now, it would be crossing the line. I think that something that happened 15 years ago, it was body behaviour, silly behaviour, it was being done in the confines of the set and we were like a family, working together.

"The fact that it was stories I've already told, I've been telling them for years, I haven't hidden anything, they've been exaggerated and they've tried to turn them into sexual harassment which it absolutely is not," he continued.

"And the one thing for me, all the people that were making a fuss about it, they weren't there, they don't know the context of things that were done.

"Like I said, I would never do it now, but what we're not allowing people and myself to do with the continued bashing, we're not allowing people to learn to adapt and to change, and that's the most important thing," he added.
