Parfums Christian Dior knows how to throw a proper party, so it’s no surprise that when it came to celebrating their legendary men’s scent Sauvage — now marking a decade as the world’s best-selling fragrance (it is said that one bottle is sold every three seconds worldwide), the bash was always going to be big.

Last night’s opening saw an A-list crowd including Johnny Depp, Bassel Khaite, Gene, Anais and Lennon Gallagher descend on Somerset House for an exclusive preview of the immersive Fort Sauvage experience. The pop-up will open to the public from 25-28 September.
Housed in a striking and very sizable modernist tent slap bang in the heart of Somerset House’s courtyard, the retail-meets-experiential space brings the Sauvage universe to life with a cinematic, no holds barred Wild West-inspired homage to 60s Westerns, slap bang in the middle of town…

Guests may explore a series of beautiful interactive spaces, from The Fragrance Bar, where you can discover the scent’s various iterations and star ingredients — from Calabrian Bergamot to Provencal Lavender — to a room inspired by Western saloons, where visitors can try their luck at wild dice, roulette and slot machines to win exclusive Dior prizes.
The 360-degree Wild Theatre will screen the latest Sauvage film, a rugged desert canyon adventure shot by fashion photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino and starring Johnny Depp.

For those seeking some essential pampering, The Barber Shop is set up to offer complementary treatments by expert barbers, including award-winning London barber and Dior Beauty Grooming Expert Hayden Cassidy - a chance to experience the Sauvage care line in the lap of luxury. Just be sure to bag your slot ahead of time as they’ll no doubt fly…
And before you go, stop by the General Store to stock up your bathroom cabinet - the full Dior Fragrance portfolio will be available from J’Adore to Miss Dior, and of course Sauvage.
