The Dutch midfielder has been frustrated at his club for their refusal to budge on an asking price as he pushed to leave with the Scottish Premiership among potential destinations.
But the club’s technical director Ferry de Haan admitted they are looking at offer on the table, it doesn't seem like there will be an imminent movement.
Serie A outfit Hellas Verona have also reportedly put in an offer for the playmaker this summer.
Despite the interest, Heerenveen have revealed the 22-year-old has been included in 23-man squad as they step up their pre-season campaign.
Veerman has also to social media to show the hard work being put in behind the scenes, with clips on his Instagram page.
While Steven Gerrard has plenty of options in the middle of the park with the addition of John Lundstram, Glen Kamara has been lined with a move away from Ibrox.
The Finland international is reportedly subject of interest from down south and abroad and is yet to sign an extended contract, with just two years left on his deal.
