Joey Hauser has arrived at Michigan State and is acclimating to the team quickly

Joey Hauser, the 4-star, 6-foot-9 forward who transferred from Marquette to Michigan State has arrived on campus and even competed in the Moneyball Pro-Am. From all accounts, Hauser’s introduction to the team has been great so far.

Here is what Hauser had to say about his decision to come to Michigan State:

“I think a large part has to do with Coach Izzo and his success, just kind of him as a person. He’s someone I really have a lot of respect for and I look up to. And then obviously it’s a great team, great program, has a tradition of winning so that’s something I want to be a part of.”

Xavier Tillman had this to say about his new teammate:

“He plays hard, Joey plays really hard, and you can’t get that a lot out of new guys coming in,” Tillman said. “I feel like they don’t really know their spots so they’re kind of chill but he plays really hard, he’s aggressive with the ball and he’s really skillful, especially with his jump shot.”
