Joey Essex’s partying ways caught up with him in the shape of being dumped by his stunning girlfriend Lorena Medina – and all because he spent a wild night out with pop babe Rita Ora.
The 29-year-old former The Only Way Is Essex star has been thrown back on the shelf by 28-year-old model Lorena seven weeks after he went on a 24-hour bender with Hot Right Now singer Rita.
Los Angeles born beauty Lorena says she and Joey engaged in blazing arguments after he was papped entering 29-year-old Rita’s home early one morning following a night on the tiles.
And while Rita and Joey have played down their wild night out, The Sun on Sunday reports that Lorena was furious and has now cut Joey out of her life.
She says: “He was the love of my life. I was ready to have children with Joey. We talked about marriage almost every day.”
She explained how their romance moved fast after they met on trashy MTV dating show Ex On The Beach last summer – but their love hit the breaks after snappers caught Joey among a group of people heading to Rita’s house after a late night out.
Lorena said: ”He told me, ‘I had a crazy night and I stayed at my friend’s’ and that was fine. But he didn’t tell me it was a girl and he didn’t mention Rita Ora. I told Joey, ‘This s*** can’t happen. Are you crazy?
“How would you feel if I spent the night with some guy?’ I was very upset and was like ‘F*** this. I don’t trust you. I don’t trust what you are saying’.
“We were crying, screaming and hanging up the phone so much I got eczema all over my body. I didn’t want to speak to Rita and I don’t hate her… But after that Joey and I decided it was best if we didn’t talk any more.”
Joey has previously said he and Rita are “just friends” having known each other “for years”.
While Rita recently confessed she is “obsessed” with Joey – but denied there was any romance.
Rita said: "It’s insane, why can’t people be friends. Honestly it’s annoying."
While Joey is now single again, Rita also recently ended up single after her romance with model Raffarty Law ended.
