Joey Essex isolated at idyllic beach house before I'm A Celeb stint was called off

Joey Essex gave his fans a glimpse at the idyllic beach house where he isolated in for two weeks for I'm A Celebrity.. Get Me out of Here! before he was sent home.

The former TOWIE star, 30, was set to make a dramatic re-appearance on the ITV show - a whole seven years after he made his debut.

Joey was meant to stir things up on the current series - alongside ex-EastEnders star Charlie Brooks and telly favourite Joe Swash - by joining this year's campmates at Gwrych Castle.

However, it was claimed ITV bosses no longer needed the previous winners and they were sent packing after being placed in isolation at different accommodation across North Wales.

The reality star has since broken his silence by sharing a video clip of himself looking at the gorgeous views from the beach house he was staying at.

Standing in his printed swimming shorts, the star posed shirtless for the camera as he opened the huge patio doors to a huge area of decking outside the front of the house.

It looked straight out onto the sandy beach, which was decorated with massive rocks and greenery across the other side of the water.

Joey spun around to show off his toned abs while his eagle-eyed fans enjoyed the view.

When his Instagram followers asked where the secret location was, Joey commented back with a zip-face emoji, suggesting he wasn't going to share the peaceful location.

It comes after the star was sent home from the beautiful beach house after he wasn't needed for the 20th series of I'm A Celebrity.

A source told The Sun: "It was never clear exactly what role the four stars would play on the series, but it's obvious they'd been chosen as they were among the most popular former contestants.

"They were being prepared through isolation to ensure there was no risk of them bringing coronavirus on to the set and infecting the other celebrities or the crew and causing chaos."

The stars were set to be brought in to add more drama to the new series, and it's believed they didn't know what their involvement in the show would be.

According to reports, they were advised to get ready for "all eventualities" and were told to bring appropriate clothing for their stint.
