Joey Carbery a major doubt for Munster's Champions Cup semi-final

Joey Carbery is a major doubt for Munster's Champions Cup semi-final with Saracens next week.

The out-half limped off during the province's quarter-final win over Edinburgh with a reoccurrence of a hamstring injury kept him out of the latter stages of Ireland's Six Nations campaign.

And Munster coach Johann van Graan admitted today that the odds are against Carbery lining out for the 20 April clash.

Tyler Bleyendaal is most likely to deputise for Carbery having impressed in Friday's win over Cardiff.

Keith Earls, the try scoring hero in the quarter-final win over Edinburgh, is back in contention for this Friday's Pro14 clash with Benetton after recovering from a tight thigh.
