Joel Klatt says he was wrong about Ohio State and has moved the Buckeyes ahead of Michigan

If you watch Ohio State football on even a semi-regular basis, I don’t have to introduce you to one of FOX’s best analysts, Joel Klatt. He’s the main analyst paired with color commentator Gus Johnson and handles the network’s biggest game of the day each and every week.

Not only that, but I tend to agree with most of his comments and rationale. He’s sensible, intelligent, and far from a knee-jerk type of guy. He does his homework and calls things down the middle to the best of his ability.

Which is a refreshing and opposite normal path of some of the other opinions abounding in today’s media that likes to step before it looks.

Well, you might be interested to know then that Klatt picked Michigan to be a the team than Ohio State this year after watching both in week one. He believed the Wolverines would take that next step with the weapons it had on offense, and with Don Brown calling the defensive shots again.

He also believed Ohio State showed some warts against FAU and that there were some holes and transition-type things that were causes for concern. Namely, that the defense showed a let-down in the second-half.

However … after watching both teams last week, Klatt admitted he was probably wrong. Watch the below as he provides the rationale for thinking Ohio State is a whale of a team and that Michigan is the team that has some serious flaws to work on.

Ah, yes — the universe is starting to feel right again.
