Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid battled through a case of gastroenteritis, a stomach illness that kept him out of Monday morning’s shootaround in Toronto but not out of Game 2 of their second-round series with the Raptors.
Embiid powered through it, finishing Game 2 with 12 points and six rebounds as the rest of his guys, especially Jimmy Butler, picked him up and picked up a 94-89 win on the road to even the series.
After the game Embiid explained what he was going through, healthwise, leading up to the game. And in classic Embiid style he wasn’t very subtle about it.
