Joel Embiid calls Kevin Hart his ‘son’ after photo of their height difference goes viral at Eagles’ win

Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid and comedian Kevin Hart, who is originally from Philly, are longtime friends.

Embiid celebrated with Hart after a postseason victory, and the wonderful moment from that 2018 game immediately turned into a meme. Hart has also crashed post-game interviews with Embiid and the big man has joked with the comedian about his workout routine.

The two Philadelphia icons attended the Eagles and 49ers NFC Championship Game together on Sunday afternoon. Before the game, FOX’s NFL broadcast showed the friends hanging out on the sidelines. They even made an funny, absurd graphic to illustrate their height disparity.

The Eagles defeated the 49ers and they will advance to play the Bengals in Super Bowl for Super Bowl LVII at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.

After the game, Embiid posted a photo of himself with Hart on Instagram.

His caption read that this was a “Father and Son” watching a Super Bowl berth because the height difference between the individuals looked like that of a parent and a young child.

During his time in Philadelphia, Embiid has truly embraced rooting for the hometown NFL team. He even crashed a live broadcast of a fan celebration when the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2018.

If the Eagles are able to win another championship, NBA fans should keep a close eye to watch how Embiid reacts. Based on what we have seen from him so far, the results could be hilarious.
