Joel Dommett lets slip Masked Dancer's biggest celeb ever will be revealed tonight

The Masked Dancer host Joel Dommett has given away that the show's biggest ever celebrity surprise will be revealed in tonight's episode.

The presenter is back fronting the revamped version of the ITV talent show and during an appearance on Monday's Lorraine Show, let slip an exciting detail about tonight's episode.

Joel said tonight's reveal is someone he 'never believed' would take part adding that he was lost for words when he made the discrovery.

Discussing the ongoing success of the show, Cat Deeley - who was standing in for Lorraine Kelly - asked Joel about the rumour going round that one one of the celebs was a really big booking.

"Apparently there was one celebrity who everybody was really amazed by," she asked.

"There was one in particular, that I genuinely... for me, it was the biggest reaction I gave when I was told it was them," the host teased.

"Why so big? Because it's someone you thought would never ever ever do it?" asked Cat.

"That's what I think," Joel admitted. "I just couldn't believe that they'd done the show. I just never believed that they would do it.

"And when they told me I was like 'whaaaaat!" I couldn't believe it. It's mad.

"And they may be revealed very soon," he teased.

Cat then asked how soon would viewers have to wait for the big name celeb.

"Ooh potentially tonight," he claimed before giving a sidewards glanced.

Joel then joked he might not have a job after the producers heard him let slip the big reveal.

The presenter, who has also been asked to host this year's NTA Awards, shared his worries for the return of The Masked Singer later in the year after the success of the dancing version of the show.

"It's more visual because they are moving so much. I think when we go back to the Masked Singer at the end of the year and it will feel strangely static."

Speaking about the differences between the two shows, Joel went on: "Theres no foundation of the voice to go on so it's much harder.

"But there are more clues in this - in the costumes in the VTs"

So far singer Louise Redknapp and Diversity star Jordan Banjo have been outed as two of the stars behind the mask with Squirrel, Carwash, Beagle, Frog and Rubber Chicken left to be revealed.

"After episode three people start to let loose," said Joel.

"This is where the show starts to flourish. Sometimes people have to hide real talents so we don't guess it immediately but now they start reveal what their incredible bodies can do."

The Masked Dancer returns to ITV tonight at 7:30pm.
