Joel Dommett has revealed he suffered something of a humiliating setback when he took his wife off to a gig – only to get denied entry when no one recognised who he was.
The 36-year-old The Masked Singer host has been married to Hannah Cooper since 2019 and he whisked her off to Ibiza for a recent summer break.
The TV host planned to take Hannah – who he co-stars on Celebrity Gogglebox with – to a concert by Tinie Tempah, but they had trouble at the VIP entrance.
Despite Joel and Tinie working together on the Sky entertainment show Bring The Noise in the past, no one recognised the comedian at the door to the gig.

Joel explained to The Sun on Sunday: “We go for a lovely dinner, a couple of bottles of wine and no one has any idea (when we get to the venue).”
He added: “We went all the way to Ibiza to watch Tinie and we listened to him on the beach from a distance.”
Back in July, Joel opened up about his blissful marriage to Hannah – who he dated for two years before tying-the-knot.

And it seems the secret to a happy relationship is down to plumbing for the comedian and his stunning model wife.
Speaking on Alan Carr’s Life’s a Beach podcast, he said: “We think the key to a happy marriage is separate bathrooms.
“Obviously, not everyone in this world is able to have separate bathrooms, but I say have a smaller living room and have another bathroom.”
The couple, who wed in Greece in 2019, go to great lengths to maintain each other’s privacy, laying out room sprays for one another and putting on music while they visit their respective restrooms, which Hannah says is “romantic”.
Joel previously told the panel of Loose Women that he ‘met’ Hannah over Instagram.
He explained: “She sent me a cat emoji with the heart eyes. That is the modern equivalent of the old phrase ‘you had me at hello,’ now it’s ‘you had me at cat emoji’.”

While he told the Metro ahead of his 2019 nuptials that he couldn’t wait to become Hannah’s husband.
He gushed at the time: “It was a nothing decision, this is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. Its easy. Nothing feels difficult about talking about the future.
“Whereas I felt like in the past it felt weird talking about the future, but now it’s like of course we’re going to spend the rest of our lives together.”
