Venerable left guard Joel Bitonio is the latest Browns player to earn accolades from a panel of NFL execs, coaches and players conducted by ESPN.
Bitonio, the longest-tenured Browns offensive player, checks in at No. 7 overall in the polling amongst interior offensive linemen. He ranked as high as fifth on one ballot.
Bitonio registered high marks against the pass with a win rate of 95.8, fourth among guards.
Much of the commentary notes Bitonio getting credit for still being an admirable performer despite all the chaos going on around the team in the last couple of seasons. Bitonio is undeniably well-respected around the league.
