Joe Willock struck up a bond with Allan Saint-Maximin during their time together at Newcastle United - and the Arsenal midfielder has told the Frenchman he misses him.
Wherever he ends up this summer, Willock will never forget the four months he spent on loan with the Magpies last season.
As well as establishing himself as a Premier League force - Willock became the first player since Alan Shearer to score in seven consecutive top-flight games for the club - the Londoner hit it off with a number of his team-mates, including Saint-Maximin and Jacob Murphy.

Saint-Maximin and Willock recently caught up while they were both in Mykonos on a working holiday last month and the pair have also kept in touch remotely since that final day win at Fulham in May.
When Saint-Maximin uploaded a photo of the speedy forward leading the way in Newcastle's pre-season sprints, on Thursday, Willock simply commented: "Machine."
After seeing Willock's comment, Saint-Maximin said: "Miss you" before his former team-mate replied: "Miss you too bro."
Whether the pair will be reunited remains the big question this summer. Newcastle's budget has been hit by the pandemic, but Steve Bruce has vowed to at least test Arsenal's resolve.
Although Willock has stopped short of making any promises about a possible return to Tyneside, the 21-year-old previously hinted that 'hopefully there is more to continue in the future'.
Willock was due to sit down with his father, Charles, who is also his representative, to discuss his future after he came back from holiday.
Arsenal players returned to the club's Colney base for testing on Thursday ahead of jetting off to Scotland for a pre-season training camp.
The Gunners take on Hibs and Rangers next week before flying out to the States later this month to take part in the Florida Cup alongside Inter Milan, Everton and Colombian side Millonarios.
