Joe Wicks says he schedules sex once a week with wife Rosie to keep the romance alive

Joe Wicks has revealed he makes sure to schedule sex once a week with his wife Rosie due to their busy schedules.

Speaking to the Made by Mummas podcast, Wicks said their time is so “disrupted” with work and raising two children that they schedule one night a week to go to bed earlier.

"That time is so disrupted it’s almost like you’ve got to crowbar intimacy into your week. One night a week... If you can go to bed earlier,” he said.

"It allows you to have that time to talk."

He continued: 'You've got to get warmed up sometimes, you can't just jump straight into things. Sometimes, I'll go to bed with Rosie and we'll have a really nice chat, we might watch a show... and you're suddenly reconnecting.”

Wicks, 33, and Rosie, 29, a former glamour model, have two children: daughter Indie, 22 months, and son Marley, five months.

They met in 2016 and married in 2019.

Speaking about Rosie, Wicks gushed with love, calling her “amazing”.

“She's so patient and I really admire that because I sometimes lose my patience and I get a bit intolerant but she's so calm and that for me is a really inspiring trait for me to become a better Dad.”

He said their time in quarantine as a family “has definitely made me appreciate everything she does really and I'm really grateful for that.”

Wicks has been keeping the nation healthy and entertained with his workout videos throughout lockdown, with Rosie recently stepping in when Wicks was injured.
