Joe Wicks has finally revealed the name of his son as he gave fans an update on the condition of his child after he was kept in hospital due to an infection.
The 33-year-old Instagram star became a second time father on 14 December as his first ever son was welcomed into the world - arriving three weeks earlier than Joe and his wife Rosie anticipated.
The Body Coach star took to social media late on Friday night to reveal to fans that he and his wife has decided to name their son Marley.
Joe shared the news via his Instagram page as he uploaded a snap of his tiny lad along with a short and sweet statement reading: “Welcome to the world Marley,” alongside a red heart emoji.
Joe also shared a video of himself cradling his baby son, telling his followers: “We’ve finally decided on a name for our little boy. His name is Marley.”
Joe gave an update on Marley’s condition, as he explained that his boy had fallen sick.
“He’s been in the hospital for a week now with an infection but he’s on the mend and getting stronger each day,” Joe explained.
“The staff at the hospital have been so wonderful and so loving to him and Rosie everyday,” he continued.
“This is the first time he’s properly opened his eyes and he’s just so chilled and relaxed even though he probably feels rough. Welcome to the world my little boy Marley,” he added.
Joe and Rosie already have a 17-month-old daughter named Indie - and the star has previously discussed his desire to have a large family of his own.
“I love how close my brothers and I are [Joe’s elder brother Nikki is his right-hand man at Body Coach HQ]. I guess my relationship with George showed me I had real paternal instincts,” he told You magazine last year.
“I love the bond I have with my brothers and I want my kids to be close in age. I definitely want four kids before I’m 40. I’m 33 this month so four in seven years is doable,” he added.
He also said he embraced all the aspects of becoming a father, declaring shortly after Indie was born: "Honestly, I love it. Being knackered is just part of the process."
